Tiger Football 2016
"EVERY DOWN, ALL IN = WIN FOREVER"

Football is a major sport for boys and a few girls. The Tigers compete in the District 5B which is a part of the Southern Division for class B football.  Currently the Tigers play an 8 game schedule, three of those games are non conference and the remaining five are conference games which determine the conference champion. In the past 8 years the Tigers have won 3 conference titles and have made the playoffs 5 of the 8 years.  The best finish for the Tigers came in 2010 when they took their 10-0 record in to the semi-final game only to come up short against the Fairfield Eagles.

Requirements for participation include passing all subject levels on a weekly basis, (including all MHSA regulations), physical qualification, and parental consent.  The Tigers also have a 5-6 game JV schedule to get the young and inexperienced players additional time to become better football players.  Lifting is a huge requirement for athletics, especially for football.  The Tigers have a very organized and challenging workout program during the off season which is monitored by the coaches.   In addition to our regular season, seniors are selected to play in the Class "B" All-Star game.  The game is played the first part of June and gives our top seniors from 5B a chance to put the pads on one more time.
